I’ll be honest, this Alabama photographer once avoided newborn portrait sessions UNTIL my couples & best friends started having babies. There’s no greater joy that cheering my clients on throughout life’s journey. Who says we have to stop being friends after the wedding day?!

Now I’ve only known Kylie & Kyle for a year, but when I found out they were adding to their family I was so excited!!! Benjamin was born right at the beginning of this pandemic & since being home have only welcomed a few guests at a safe distance.

I suggested we do a front porch session to keep everyone safe & pop inside for a few in their ridiculously adorable nursery. And the best part?! Their house has so much great natural light that it made my photographer heart very happy. The view from their front door to the couch was perhaps my favorite part.

Can you believe that Kyle made this porch swing for his family?! Just imagine the fun memories that’ll be made out here.

Welcome home Benjamin! You’ve got two of the best parents & I cannot wait to watch you grow up.

Olivia | Lifestyle Newborn Portrait Session

It’s no secret that I love weddings BUT reconnecting with a DMP couple to photograph their newest little addition is definitely high on the list too. ⁣Amanda & Lance said 'I Do' five years ago in Demopolis, Alabama. And just welcomed a sweet baby girl into their family. 🎀⁣⁣

I absolutely loved catching up with them in their sweet home to photograph their growing family. I am so thankful that they've trusted me to capture their biggest life moments thus far.

Josie | Lifestyle Newborn Portrait Session

There’s just something so sweet & special about being invited into someone’s home. Into a season of life that is changing yet beaming with excitement. Perhaps that’s why I enjoy love being a photographer. I can choose to be a part of the bustling wedding day or spend an quiet afternoon getting to know a family who just welcomed home their littlest member.

Miss Josie recently made her arrival into the world a few weeks ago. Changing a Birmingham family of two into a family of three. For nine months, Chelsey & Sam made preparations to their home, read all the books & even received advice from family & friends. But nothing could prepare them for that first moment when they met their baby girl. So without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to baby girl Josie.

Trooper was a little bit unsure about the his baby sis’s arrival. He had to check out everything we put her in & of course had to remind us all that he was here first. Isn’t he just too cute?!
